Ed Bates

As you probably know, I started out as a guitar player in “ThePelaco Bro.s” then formed The Sports with Steve Cummings. By the 80's I was becoming more interested in steel guitar and played steel with the “Crummy Cowboys” for a number of years. Since then I have worked with quite a few people in the country scene, including Adam Harvey and Melinda Schnieder. Worked and recorded with Vicka and Lynda, The Black Sorrows and Bakelite Radio, as well as Andy Baylors' Cajun' Combo.

Currently have an Instrumental band called Bates Motel.
